Sean and company finished the roof last week. The change in the visual impact of the house is really incredible. Once we incorporate the ship’s stern like facade on the front the house will be really stunning. Today, thanks to her parents, Jenn and I moved into her old room. This will save us a lot off our Venice rent and allow us to furnish the house once we move in! Thanks Lee and Cheryl!

Here are some new pictures from the weekend. We spent a good amount of time talking with Sean and going over the plans for the kitchen. We had thought of not using Ikea for our cabinetry, however, after discussing with Sean we decided to stay on that course. In addition, we decided on both a 36″ range and refrigerator. Jenn will be working on the drawings next week.
